Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) was established in the academic year 2003-04 with an intake of 60. The program is approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. The program is accredited by NBA and NAAC. The department is committed to the academic and individual development of the students in enabling them to learn the current trends of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The department has highly qualified and efficient faculty with few of them exposed to the industry experience. The department has a student forum called “Spark Aura” which actively conducts various co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The department has been organizing several national / state level conferences and students’ symposiums every year. The department conducts workshops, seminars and guest lecturers to keep the students and staff updated with the current developments. The department also invites projects from industries to be implemented by the students. The students have been well trained with the support of the placement cell and have succeeded in carving respectful positions in reputed companies. Department has signed MOU with some of the core companies such as AMPS, JLL,PYRA WINDO which in turn helps the students for their job opportunities and provides a way to improve their technical skills through projects and internships.
