Admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses is though Common Entrance Test -2024 conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
As per Govt. order No. MED 51 RGU 2023 dated 13/04/2023 for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) course, candidates need to appear for KCET examination conducted by KEA. KCET applications are opened till 20/02/2024, 11.59 pm. For further information regarding KCET Examination & admission procedure please log on to KEA website KEA website – http://kea.kar.nic.in
A. Eligibility Criteria
i) The candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 st December, 2024
ii) Minimum Educational qualification is pass in the Pre-University Examination of Karnataka Board of Pre-University Education with an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects (40% for SC&ST Candidates) or any other examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences as equivalent to 2 years PUC. Pass in English subject in PUC is mandatory.
Equivalency is determined only by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
iii) Students awaiting results may also apply.
iv) Religious Sisters should have completed one year after their religious profession No age bar for admission.
B. Fees to be paid for First year : Rs. 1,00,000/- year
Admission charges : Rs. 10,000/-
Hostel Fee: Rs. 19,200/- year
Mess Fees: 2,500/- month
